Tess:

I have always loved and cared for animals of all shapes and sizes, my first memories being that of the frogs , toads and lizards that made our backyard in North Hollywood, Cailfornia their home.Being an only child, those creatures became my friends-- bunnies, guinea pigs and hamsters joining the pack as I got older. As the years went on I added to the menagerie what our homes and county limits would allow. Unfortunately though I could never provide a sufficient home for a horse, so it has been one of my greatest honors to have had the opportunity to photograph and be near the wonderful and endangered wild mustangs of America at the Return to Freedom Wild Horse Sanctuary. A portion of the proceeds of the equine photos on this website goes to help feed the 200 horses that reside safely there. Other photos on this site show how animals of all kinds can be great healers and sources of love on a planet in desperate need of rescue

Arnold Three Feathers:

Around the age of 9 or 10, I found myself, camera in hand, crossing behind police and fire lines to photograph an oil-well fire in Los Angeles. Since then, I have always had a camera close at hand.

Today, I am drawn to the natural world and especially find the Wild Mustangs one of the greatest results of God's handiwork. I see beauty, harmony and love in that which has been created by something greater than man. That beauty evokes in me a deep feeling of gratitude, experiencing the moment and wanting to capture and share my experiences. That beauty evokes in me a deep feeling of gratitude. With my photos I hope to at once capture that moment and share my experiences. I hope that you are touched by these images.
